The Will Challenge: 4 Days to Get Started on the Will You’re Avoiding!

What is the Will Challenge?

Your Will is the only legal document saying who gets what when you die. It’s one of the most important pieces of life admin paperwork, yet so many people put it off.

The solution to this endless avoidance is our free annual Rainbow Hunting Will Challenge. It is a 4-day course to help you go from “Head in the Sand“ to having a clear idea what goes into this vital document, and in that short time you will gain all the knowledge you need in order to fully understand how to get it done.

The Challenge is designed for people who know they need a Will but have been putting this off, sometimes for years, and it provides more than just legal information… there’s space to breathe, emotional permission to face the topic, and a calm guide to help you through.

I created the Will Challenge because I’ve seen what gets in the way.

I used to be a Wills and Probate solicitor. And then sadly I became a widow.

As a lawyer I had an overflowing folder (yes, it was in the world before paper-free organisation!) full of people who had enquired about making Wills and never got round to actually doing it. As a widow, I’ve sadly seen within the bereaved community the complexities that get layered onto the emotional trauma of the death when the paperwork is not sorted.

And, I’ve witnessed (in my own world and with clients and friends) how disorienting loss can be… and how much relief, clarity, and love is wrapped up in having the paperwork in place.

A Gentle Note on What This Is Not!

It’s important to understand that I’m no longer a practising solicitor. That means that I’m not regulated or insured to draft Wills or give legal advice… and I don’t try to.

Instead, I use my experience, both as a former lawyer and now as a grief and life coach, to support you through the emotional and practical mindset blocks that so often stop people from progressing their Wills.

Honestly? When I was a solicitor, I was never unable to write a Will for someone. The legal side of writing Wills is usually straightforward!

But, it is the feelings, family dynamics, and fear that stop people in their tracks. People usually sign up to the Challenge not knowing where to start, worrying about who to trust, and feeling uncertain about what they need to put in place.

And although the Will Challenge is not legal advice… it’s four days that will help you to make huge progress with this vital legal document. And, you’ll end the course knowing how to approach a lawyer feeling confident, clear and prepared.

Why This Matters

Writing a Will isn’t just about what happens after you die… it brings peace of mind while you’re still here.

It tells the people you care about:

“I thought this through. I’ve made it easier for you.”

Without a Will, things are harder for those left behind to sort out. Not just legally, but emotionally too… dying intestate (without a Will) can lead to confusion, delays and even family conflict… all at a time that’s already burdened with heartbreaking grief.

I know this because I hear this time and again from past participants:

“I didn’t realise how much this had been weighing on me.”

“It’s such a relief to finally have a plan.”

What Makes This Different?

This isn’t a webinar full of legalese, nor is it a DIY Will-writing tutorial.

The Will Challenge is a compassionate and fun space to provide you with the knowledge and tools you need to get clear on what you want, so that you’re ready to take the next step with a solicitor who’s a good fit for you.

The Will Challenge includes:

✨ Clear, simple guidance
✨ Practical mindset tips for getting unstuck
✨ A judgment-free community of others who “get it”
✨ A checklist and prompts to make it feel doable… and even empowering!

What You’ll Receive

Over the four days, you’ll get:

  • Daily live sessions each morning (15–30 minutes, and replays are available)

  • Bite-sized prompts to help you reflect and organise your thoughts

  • Access to a private Facebook group of kind, thoughtful humans

  • A live Q&A session to explore common fears and emotional roadblocks

  • A distraction-free HQ webpage where you can find everything (no social media required)

  • The Will Power Planner – a checklist of everything a lawyer needs to know to draft your Will

This is For You If:

  • You haven’t written a Will yet

  • You have a Will but haven’t looked at it in years

  • You’ve experienced loss, relationship change or a big life transition

  • You’re confused about things like executors, trustees, or guardians

  • You’ve started before but got stuck… and never finished

  • You want someone to walk you through it all gently, without pressure

You don’t need to just take if from me. I’ve helped hundreds of people take steps forwards with this important document and this is what past participants have said:

“The checklist was a godsend. It helped me finally get going on something I’d been avoiding for years.”

“You’re taking the fear out of a topic no one likes to think about. Thank you for cutting back the brambles.”

“This was amazing. I feel so much lighter now.”

Full details about the next Will Challenge can be found here. As well as the four morning zooms of the Challenge, participants are invited to a live Q&A session on the Friday evening and a bonus webinar the following week (all details are in the webpage). And, everything is recorded, so you don’t need to worry if you can’t attend live.
